Two Swords, a Hand, and a Pony: Game of Thrones Season Four Premeire Event

Game 4

Sunday, March 30, 2014, HBO presented a red carpet premiere of Game of Thrones Season 4, at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia, and I was lucky enough to be invited to attend.  What better way, for All Good Things TV to spread the wealth, than to give a review for the premiere that no one else will be able to give for months!

Belly Dancer 3
I will try my best not to give any spoilers.  Hell, the title could be considered a spoiler, but it's more like a cryptic code that only time can unlock for you to say, "Oh...I get it, now..!" Well, in this premiere, relationships seem to be a focus.  Daenerys Targaryen questions her control over her dragons.  Both Lannister brothers are in danger of losing the ones they love.  Jon Snow may have to pay with his life, for his past relationship with Ygritte, and his brief time as a WildlingThe Hound and Arya Stark test their strange bond in battle.  And lastly, a presence enters to not only witness the forging of a new royal relationship, but to repay the Lannisters for an old royal marriage turned bloody betrayal, reminiscent of "The Red Wedding."
Dire Wolf
Not only was the new story well written, but so was the opening recap.  In fact, I remember someone in the audience remarking on how she had missed a lot of the last season, but how well the opening recap filled in the missing gaps for her.  Yes, indeed, it is hard to believe that they managed to squeeze in so much, so well, including some of Season One.
Well, 'sorry about the short review.  After all, it is just an hour long show, y' know!  However, I thought I would  share some pictures from the feast afterwards.
Enjoy!
